Great
Best choice if you are in down town. Price is comparable to all others in town and great ready made food court.
Lots of update and the food was fantastic
A lot of new improvements. and the food is amazing
Station is okay but leaves a little to be desired on the side of cleanliness. Fuel is matched always with the alliance gas station. Restrooms are stashed away in the back of the store and in what seems to be a closet. The restroom itself is very old and unclean. They offer a wide variety of items for sell in store as with any typical gas station does. They also have a food court were they sell Mexican style fast food. This station also has dedicated satellite pumps in the rear of the station just for semi trucks with plenty of room. Station is conveniently located near the intersection of 299 and 395 for easy ingress and egress on to and off of the highway.
Station is very clean and customer service is very nice. They sell California Lottery and scratchers and also are able to do Western Union money transfers. Restrooms are very nice, clean, and updated. Station has a couple bench tables inside for relaxing or eating. They have a food court with I wide variety of food including my favorite, Chicken Bowl. They have a dump site for RVs to dump their sewage tanks for a fee. They also have air and water. Gas pumps have tall awnings for RVs and such but the set up of the pumps is an inconvenience for your semi tractors hauling trailers although a commercial vehicle not towing anything could easily gain access along with RVs. Gas prices are always the highest in town by usually anywhere from 0.04 to 0.10 more than the competitors in town. Outside of driving 5 miles north of town to the Chimney Rock fueling station, this station is overall the best choice for travelers stopping into the little town of Alturas as it has a wide variety of accommod

Super stop!
There is no toilet. However, the customer service is the best. Cashier is in a small shipping container while the construction is being done. The building seems like it will be as awesome as the people
Chimney rock travel center is a small fueling and travel center station about 5 miles east of Alturas on US 395. The travel center is located on native lands, thus they can offer a better price for all fuels. The staff for the most part is very friendly, the travel center itself is very clean and orderly. The restrooms are huge and you will find no signs of garbage anywhere. I highly recommend.
