Chevron in Bessemer (3430 Morgan Rd)

Awesome location

Prices displayed on GB maps is deceptive: This station charges an extra 10 cents per gallon to pay at the pump, rain or shine, ice or snow, old or young. But, the map, today at least, displayed $2.79 for regular. However, this rate-the-station page shows $2.89. Regardless, be prepared to pay a few dollars more at this station unless you are willing to go inside (no matter the weather) in order to be subjected to their food/drink/etc marketing. Of course, no matter how you pay, you'll be forced to listen to that annoying/distracting/overly loud Gas Station TV BS whether you want to or not. There really should be an OPT-OUT button! (What if everyone who went inside did so with a boom box blaring?) It's unfortunate whenever you leave a nice, clean, new gas station with a bad taste in your mouth. And, not from the food/beverages either!

A little awkward to get in and out if traffic is heavy. Otherwise a great place to stop. Super clean even after several years of being open.

Clerks could not tell me which pump has Non-Ethanol Gas And they were unsure if this station even sells Non-Ethanol Gas??? However there Is a sign On The outside which says Non-Ethanol Is available???

DOWNSIDE: it has those old time tyos pumps and they do NOT stop on their own! You have to stop other so it doesn't go over whatever you paid! They close fairly early! A little on the higher priced side for their alcohol, 2 liter drinks, cigarettes, candy, chipa.. UPSIDE: The few employees are all very kind and attentive and compassionate. they take all cigarette coupons for every brand. Their boiled peanuts are always good and hot and the CAJUN ones have greaf flavor/
