Neptune Oil in Monterey (899 Hawthorne St)

Went to get gas selected regular no gas dispensed . Went inside the attendant was very rude. Talked to me like I don't know how to use pump. Never going back. What happened to Circle K? It was the best

The pumps often don't work with a card or the screen doesn't show words, Especially after hours which is sometime around dusk or so. The guy who works there is chatty and nice but can come across sort of rude when it comes to actual customer service. The prices are cheap for gas, items inside the shop are above what most other people charge. The place is dirty looking. So you get what you pay for.

Always very competitive prices and even better price if you pay cash; however, with GasBuddy, we are getting that same great discount. Not spotless, but certainly not a run down, dirty place to get gas. They do have a pump or two out of service on a regular basis.

Great staff. New owners.

Went out of my way to get gas at this specific spot around noon time. I get there and I'm in my car for about a minute and then see the workers leaving to lunch when they see me in the car. Very rude and pissed me off I wasted my time driving there to have the door shut in my face. Was 2 women probably store owners daughters/family members.

Neptune is generally very reliable, but sometimes has had out of order pumps, etc. Overall though, I'm grateful that it's one of my local gas stations. The prices are always relatively reasonable compared to national chains.
