ARCO in Lawndale (16518 Hawthorne Blvd)

Guy in a imitation police cruiser followed from the pay window to the back where my car was parked then parked in front of my car preventing me from leaving. I asked the worker who was walking out if that guy was security and he said he didn't know as it was his first day working there. After I left I called the store to express my concerns. The first time called a female answered the phone "Hello" then hung up as I was explaining the situation. I called back a few more times to no answer. Then finally a man answers "What do you want? We're working!" I explained the situation to him and he said that guy was security and he didn't want me stealing. It was 11pm and the inside was closed there was just a walk up window how could I possibly steal. I'll push my car 5 miles down the road to another gas station before I ever step foot in that place again

This station used to allow free air/water (at least.) But.. there has to be a reason why they stopped it and now charge $1.00. Everything else has been up to par for me. They are always amongst the lowest price per gallon in this area.

Don't take credit cards for gas, only debit cards, then charges .35 to use it!
