Shell in Carmel Hamlet (1923 US-6)

It’s a tie between this Shell station and Exxon Mobile on Route 6, but these 2 stations are ALWAYS the most expensive for gasoline in my area. I don’t stop at either one unless I need something from the minimart-or have run down to fumes in my gas tank. The minimart is nice, clean, and well lit up at night. Customer service is fast, efficient, and friendly.

Brand new station offers a discount and then it doesn't work. Staff doesn't speak English and management may or may not, but hides like mice from customers with a question.

The gas, cigarette and almost every thing in this place is pricey. Gouging to pay for the expensive remodeling. They literally torn the old station down and rebuilt ground up. Can't afford this place.

Usually has some of the highest gas prices in the area. There is a decent selection inside, and the staff is friendly

Charge more than signs indicate. Check your receipt!!
