The bad rating is because of the company policies. I used a Shell gas gift card that was purchased with cash. The credit price for gas was charged. If a gift is purchased with cash an individual using the card shouldn't be charged the credit price. If the company has no way to differentiate between cash or credit on said gift card the default should be the cash price because the consumer is choosing the specific gas company when purchasing the gift card. Shell gas stations are notorious for this problem / practice. I have yet to find a Shell Gas sponsored station in my immediate area that doesn't follow this policy. Pathetically Ridiculous! This is the last straw, I will be avoiding Shell Gas sponsored stations from this point on because of the policies governing the method of purchasing fuel.
