Locally owned, a model of exemplary business practices for the community it serves. It now provides a busy car wash, hot foods served from its own kitchen, job opportnities for those who live nearby, good service and convenience for travelers.
Located on Business 220 and Joseph Martin Hwy, a popular shopping plaza next block, Martinsville NASCAR speedway to the south, direct access to the Bypass (Va 58 & US 220) connecting all routes east, west, north, and south, this station does a great job of serving an immense flow on Martinsville's southern edge. The new owner will reopen the carwash next month. Inside clean restrooms, a deli, and a bank of electronic game machines are available.
No heat today in store. Only men's bathroom. Didn't have toilet paper or paper towels.

This is the first stop for travellers entering Martinsville city from the south; service always improves. It now also serves as full postal station. No public restrooms. Much of its business involves lottery play. Visitors today are greeted and served by pleasant & courteous personnel.
