1-4-23, 7:45am: Pulled into the gas station, confirmed the gas buddy reported prices of gas from my car. Got out of the car, scanned in my gas buddy card, selected my grade of gas and started pumping. While pumping I realized the price was $0.30 more. Looked at the sign out front and it still had the original price. After fueling up I went inside and asked the clerk what happened. She informed that since no one was pumping she changed the price. ($0.30 more in less than the 20 seconds to get out of my car and scan my card). No apology or suggested course of compensation. The new price was also $0.25 to $0.30 higher than surrounding gas stations. I will not be going back there. Increasing gas prices $0.30 at 7:45am while people are there without also changing the digital price on front sign. After I filled up with a little more than 10 gallons, that’s the last $1 they will get from me.
