Marathon in Baileys Crossroads (5652 Columbia Pike)

Their pumps are super super slow so I latched the nozzle and went to sit in my car but the nozzle was broken so it over filled the tank and spilled out. When I went inside to get help cleaning the gas off my car they yelled at me?!? Said it was my fault because I didn't stand next to the nozzle. Their nozzle is broken!! They didn't offer to help me clean it or give me a discount for the spilled gas I paid for. I still can't believe they yelled at me. Finally one guy came out and wiped my car down with a rag but he complained the whole time and said he was doing me a favor because he had other work he needed to do. Overall bad experience. And another customer pumping gas next to me said that other nozzles have the same problem at that place. Nozzles break, I get that, but why did they have to make it worse by yelling at me, blaming me for what happened and not offering in any way to make it better. They lost a customer today that's for sure. Pretty short sided of them.

Great location. Was recently bought out by Marathon. Hopefully things don't change.

Convenient and always busy

The pump showed that regular was 3.09 per gallon but when we pumped the gas it charged us 3.95 per gallon. The guy inside said we pumped premium…really???!!! I know the difference between regular and premium. This place is cheating everyone who pumps gas at their station.

I used to frequent this gas stations for years because my office is right across the street. I always pay at the pump. This time I had to go inside. The guy was extremely rude at the counter. Nasty demeanor so I decided to leave and go around the corner to the Shell on the corner of Carlin Springs and Leesburg Pike. Gas was cheaper. His rudeness lost $74 today and who knows how much in the future from me. I’m also telling everyone in my office who will listen gas is cheaper at Shell.
