Valero in Wilkesboro (4061 US-421)

Pretty quick in and out. Nice to not get blocked in. Could have more options to purchase

I rarely use Valero Stations, because their gas prices are always higher than at least most, if not all the gas stations near to them. Their name and address is not even printed on their receipts, so they evidently don’t want you to be able to turn your receipts in for proof of purchase for sites such as this one. They are always clean and usually friendly though. This station even has really nice little travel souvenirs.

Valero at Brownsford Rd and 421 in wilkesboro was the first one to raise the price .10 a week or so go to 4.49. They used to be one of the last even when chgd to Valero a few years ago. I guess they chgd they're strategy.

The restrooms are disgusting. mold growing on the walls. Just filthy. I walked in an turned around. I told the staff of three that the bathroom was disgusting and they just looked at me like I was an alien from another life.

Stopped in for a drink and was greeted by the kindness, professional employee, assuming she was the Manager. I was wondering around looking for something and she was kind enough to stop what she was doing to ask if I needed any assistance. I know this is common, but she really was so very kind. I hope she (young, glasses) will receive some sort of thank you from upper management, in my world not enough compliments are given out, hopefully at Valero, this is different. Perhaps she will never see this, I plan on stopping next time through and let her know how she brightened an otherwise bad day. Thank you-
