Gas stations in Gibsons charge (at least) 10 cents/litre more than Metro stations (even though there is no Metro transit tax on fuel on the Sunshine Coast). Don’t encourage/support gouging and price fixing on the Sunshine Coast. Fill up in Metro until the Sunshine Coast stations stop gouging.
Gas prices are a burn here!! Unreasonable gouging going on. Prices are always more expensive than in Vancouver whereas 1-2 years ago, I would wait until returning home to the sticks in Gibsons as the gas anywhere on the Coast was cheaper than the Lower Mainland!
This station is right off the highway with an easily accessible entrance and exit, though the lot is a bit tight.
Petro-Canada GIBSONS Regular $2:38.9 Petro-Canada WEST VAN Regular $1:92.9 That’s $.46 a litre more expensive in Gibsons - even though the is no Metro TranSunsine Ciat.
