Fuel One in Branchburg (3221 US-22 E)

guy here pumps my gas with a smile every time

I stopped for gas and a drink on Labor Day. The store was closed. Gas attendant was sitting in his car which was blocking front of store.

We tried backing up to get closer to the pump and the attendant almost smacked the back of the car. First red flag. Then he started yelling at me about our intentions and then, when I told him what grade I wanted, and that we were paying card, he almost demanded the card from us. I’d rather pay more for gas and receive better service. This attendant was downright rude.

Pricing is lowest in the area. Attendant must have dripped the gas when removing, the smell of gasoline in my garage was very strong when I got home.

Attendant failed to tighten the gas cap causing the check engine light to go on. After I secured it myself, drove over 30 miles and the light didn’t go off, it ended up costing me $195 to have the Toyota Service department run diagnostics. I later learned from Next Door that this had happened to many other drivers at this location.
