Road sign said $3.99 so I figured I would go ahead and top off since everyone close to home is 4.09. Get out to pump and realize they changed the pump but not the road sign. Complained at the counter about the difference but they said they needed to wait on someone else to come in to update the road sign. I then asked why they just raised the price 10 cents a gallon because I don’t see a tanker truck filling any tanks and stations alter prices based on cost. The lady looked at me and proceeds to tell me the station just down the street went up 10 cents earlier today so she figured they should make a little more profit today. Thankfully I had not swiped my card yet so I left and went ahead and topped off when I got closer to home.
