Marathon in Plainfield (801 Southfield Dr)

On top of all the other bad I think one of the employees (maybe the store manager) is falsely reporting lower gas prices here on the Gas Buddy app. At this very moment I'm sitting in front of the pump and gas is 3.25. It's been 3.25 all week everywhere. But, somebody just reported 40mins ago that it's 2.81. Avoid this location.

close to home, but staff is unfriendly and store is dirty

In the four months I've been going to the station, they never have receipt paper in the pumps, so you'll always end up walking through the rain and often waiting in a line to get a receipt. Don't go to the cash register on the left because the receipt they print will be unreadable. You would think after this many months they could take care of their receipt issues. Every time you ask about the receipt problem they say it's because they're short staffed, but really it's apathy.

Eh. Better to drive down the road.

The station itself is fine. It's in a bit of an awkward location and I sometimes forget that it's there.
