Apparently, even though there are credit card machines on the pumps, this station is pre-pay only (though there is nothing telling you that until you try two different pumps and then go inside to see what's wrong). And not pre-pay like "fill 'er up", pre-pay like "how much do you want?" "I don't know, I need to fill it up" "but how much do you want to charge" "I don't know yet, I need to fill it up" etc. It wouldn't have been as annoying if 1. They had signs on the pumps and 2. We weren't trying to quickly grab gas and get back on the road. So basically, if you are a hurry and need to fill up, maybe don't stop here. Otherwise, the cashier was pleasant and there's a large convenient store so that's nice.

Cash/Debit was cheaper than credit. They changed it to the same price without notification. Poor business practice. Not getting gas here anymore.

This station is now a Carroll Fuels and not a BP. Even though they are the same company, they no longer accept Harris Teeter fuel rewards.
