United in Ronks (2501 Lincoln Hwy E (US-30))

We came to United because they sell off-road diesel… We pull up to the pump and it said this pump has been stopped. We go inside give the gentleman $40 we go back to the pump.. it’s still says that this pump has been stopped. We then proceeded back inside to tell him it’s not working and he said five other things before he got to the part where the pump is not working. That the pump itself isn’t working. Why didn’t he say that in the first place why would he take our money? Send us over there and then what did he think we were just gonna leave after paying him? Five minutes later still no refund showing so we go back inside and he never hit the button on the register to actually give us back the money. The Shiesty owner tried to rob us of $40. Are you serious?

Use to be our go to convenience store. Cheapest gas around, cheaper priced items. First - Last night (7/8/2024) my husband bought a gallon of milk, had a long day and just needed to grab it, pay and go. Noticed this morning when it was being opened, it was past its sell by date. I get food / drinks can be used after sell by date but this particular gallon appeared curdled towards the top of the gallon and sticking to the walls. Went to return it for a refund, and the guy working said something along the lines of “you need to check dates before you buy it.” and didn’t refund him, and couldn’t even try to replace it with a different gallon because suddenly the rest of the gallons were gone. I know it’s “just $4.00” but it’s the principle of the situation. There should not have been items on the shelf past sell by date so it should have been an easy refund and that’s that. Second - His total came out to be $29 something with everything he bought, yet the guy said the total was $35 somet
