Exxon in Charlottesville (1061 Rio Rd E)

This location States diesel for $3.14. When we went to fill up they had no diesel for on road. This is only off-road diesel. Don't let it trick you.

Diesel at this station is strictly off-road diesel and is therefore priced substantially cheaper since it doesn't have the highway taxes. Don't use it for on-road vehicles, it's a very hefty fine if you get caught with it in your tanks.

We went here for diesel on 2/27/22 because it was quoted on gas buddy as $5.13, when the next lowest price in town was $5.49. Not only was $5.13 wrong, they don’t even have diesel fuel. Keep an eye on this Exxon - someone is putting incorrect prices up on Gas Buddy here. As for me, I will not buy gas from here.

Off Road Diesel is cheaper in cost and pops up FIRST as Best Price when it is not for regular vehicle consumption. Please fix. I wasted time and fuel to learn this first hand.

Good place to stop if you want to run in and get snacks or alcoholic beverages as they have a wide array of items. However, they are usually the more expensive gas station on this strip, with a lot of pumps constantly down and broken. The bathroom is absolutely disgusting.

Nice place to go. They have subway inside. Fuel yourself and your car at the same time.
