ARCO in National City (133 W 8th St)

The prices are pretty good considering it's close to the freeway. it's a lot cheaper than the prices around other neighborhoods. But the area is a little sketchy and you need to pay a small fee to use your card

This is a convenient location but it can be sketchy due to the homeless people. Prices are low for the neighborhood and location.

They don't accept credit cards. Only debit plus $0.35 added. Pump handle was broken.

Remember that arco doesn't accept credit, so you can't use your gas buddy card here. And there are a lot of people begging for money, which is something that I didn't like about this gas station.

Paid with debit on a pump. No premium. Had to cancel out and ate the 35-cent charge. Moved to the next pump, paid debit again, another 35 cents, and pumped close to 30 dollars. The amount I pumped was debited that same night, however, they placed a 175.35 hold on my card for 3 days—total BS. I know temp holds are a thing for gas and I'd get it if it were a hold for the same amount of gas I pumped but almost 6 TIMES that even after the money had already been withdrawn from my account?!? We should charge them a fee for borrowing our money.

Incredible this Location if not let you use the restroom the cashier said I'm sorry we don't have a restroom for being a gas station and then having a restroom that's one of the main reasons for a gas station for people to stop.
