Shell in Bartlett (123 E Stearns Rd)

Pretty good station. However, today, I was mistakenly charged $1.59 + tax for a large coffee when I went in to buy a bag of Lifesaver's. The mix up is somewhat understandable because I came in with a Venti drink from Starbucks and set it on the counter when I made my purchase. I plan to go back and and get a refund but don't expect trouble with it. By the way, here is a protip for saving at the pump: Pay With GasBuddy savings STACKS with gas station loyalty programs and car wash discounts. For example: Shell's loyalty program autonarically saves you 5¢ per gallon still shell for EVERY fill up (for up to 40 gallons per fill); if you purchase a carwash or buy anything in the store, you can get even more off. Then, if you use Pay With GasBuddy, you can save an extra 5¢ per gallon on top of that (or 20¢ if you are like me and have Plus). I always have problems filling gas here and sometimes have to walk in to pay. Usually it's good though.

The manager of this station once chased me out of the store to accuse me of shoplifting after I put the items (two 12 oz. Red Bull energy drinks) back in the cooler because their system was down and they couldn't take my credit card. I was wearing shorts and a tank top, and had no place to hide them, and after he realized this, he tried to offer me a free item in lieu of an apology. But after watching him yell at his employee and an elderly woman who was trying to find cash in her purse to pay for her gas (they couldn't take her card, either), I told him not to bother, and that I wouldn't be back. This gas station is less than a minute from my house, and I still drive out of my way to avoid patronizing it.

Ukraine attached and this station increased prices $0.20 almost immediately. Price gauging at it's finest.

They are not trained. Pump are not working. Some time does not stop and overspill.
