Brand new place
Eagle Gas on Central Ave is at the west border of Lake Station. The station is about a year old (Nov 2024 post) and has plenty of pumps, outstanding lighting and easy in/easy out. They do have 87 and 88 octane gas (different hoses). NOTE: Check your vehicle's manual to see if you can use 88 octane gas. The primary difference between 87 and 88 gas is the amount of ethanol it contains, with 88 gas having a higher ethanol percentage (typically 15%) compared to 87 gas (which usually has 10% ethanol), resulting in a slightly higher octane rating for the 88 gas, often referred to as "E15" at the pump; essentially, 88 gas is a slightly higher octane blend due to the increased ethanol content. Key points about 87 and 88 gas: Octane rating: 87 gas is considered "regular" gasoline with a lower octane rating, while 88 gas has a slightly higher octane rating due to the additional ethanol. Ethanol content: 87 gas typically contains 10% ethanol, whereas 88 gas contains 15% ethanol. Envir

Station is in Lake Station even though it says, Gary. Had some hot rodders squealing tired and peeling out around the station. Has a lower price mark at 87 octane but equivalent price to other stations is 88 octane which is higher.
Consistently the cheapest gas station in the tri-state area. They don’t have very good gas discounts though. They have a uni-sex bathroom that the gas attendant buzzes you into. They also have an ATM for a $2.50 fee.
Great staff & always open
Thanks
Good customer service
