This is a commercial fuel station inside the Kawaihae port. You need a Big Island Energy account to purchase fuel here. Individuals can get accounts but it it is a credit application and they bill you for your purchase monthly.

Mahalo nui loa for taking the time to explain our fuel station for new visitors! Fortunately membership is free, and you can visit our website or stop in during office hours to apply. There are no hidden charges, you only pay for the fuel you pump. Mahalo nui loa for visiting us at Big Island Energy!
Need membership to fuel here. Membership is free and you can go inside to apply, or go inside and ask them to turn on the pump for you.

Quit advertising! You aren’t even able to find it or buy if you are a consumer. This site is for CONSUMER use!!
This only works if you have a membership for which you pay a monthly fee. Doesn’t work at all for tourists. Only locals

this is not a regular gas station it looks like for commercial vehicles behind a fence doesn't look like they have card readers some kind of local thing for the marina. I guess you can go in there and try to figure out how to get gas but I just like to go to a gas station not try to talk them into selling me gas.

Ridiculously high prices. We pay more here than they do in Hawi, which is much further away from port. This guy is a frickin crook and knows he has a captive audience and takes full advantage of his loyal customers
