Food City in Calhoun (225 Lovers Lane Rd)

The gas buddy card will not work here…. Do not waste your time!

It's part of food city grocery store so no bathrooms but good gas prices most of the time

It wouldn’t take my gas Buddy card

Staff are friendly, station is physically well maintained and clean...but it's a gamble if the pumps are working or not. They have some of the best prices on fuel but they're inconvenient to get to...it's very frustrating if I make a special trip there to try and take advantage of lower fuel costs just to discover the entire station is closed due to software issues with the pumps. The staff confirmed that it's a frequent occurrence, so have a backup plan if you decide to go.

I went to this food city gas station to get gas because I had 15 cents discount. The pump would not give me my discount and then would not even take my card. It told me no discount available and to see cashier. I went to talk to the cashier and she was oblivious to what was going on. She was too busy paying attention to her cell phone and her tablet. I asked her if they took Wright express and she said idk. How can you work at a fuel center and not even know what payment methods are taken. It does not even make any sense at all. Then she told me that I would have to call some customer service number to get my discount for the gas. Food city is typically higher anyways on prices. The only reason I shop there was for the discount on the gas.

They don't take GasBuddy card

After activating my discount, I drove to Food City Gas'N Go but they would not accept my GasBuddy card.

Good prices on gas if you buy groceries there great price on gas. It's a a 1.95 a gallon. Cigarettes are way overpriced.
