Years ago, this intersection had 3 gas stations with convenient stores. Texaco became Shell. 2 Shell stations did not work. One went out of business. Conoco replaced the remaining Shell. When Mapco opened, a price war began again. Unless you hate paying less, Mapco is a good thing.

Similar to Big Red, Circle K works but usually a little less expensive since the name changed. The prices for gas and diesel did drop a little with the name change. McDonald’s is an option for those that enjoy the food.
