Esso in Toronto (1000 The Queensway)

Generally very clean. Good service. Decent sized convenience store.

This station you have to pay before you pump. The clerk said that's how it is there. I didn't know how much I needed & overpaid. I had to go back in to ask to how to get my money back, guy says it will only charge the lesser amount? This seems fishy to me, how would credit card company know you pumped less? I filled up here since usually cheaper...but I don't think ever again because of this situation.

I am surprised people are writing negative comments, I have never had poor service. They are always friendly and I’ve never had an issue with the cs. I think some people are just a bit too demanding, I mean how much can a clerk give at a fuel pump? 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Average prices. Location is difficult to get into at times due to traffic. Staff are very rude. They act as if it is beneath them to work there and it is a chore to answer a question or ring in a purchase.

Good customer service and open 24/7

Do not EVER buy a car wash at this location - no matter what time of day, the line is long and slow. It wraps around the whole station, making it very difficult even just to get in and fill up gas. Also, the prices for food and drink items inside are out to lunch, gas is also often more expensive than the average nearby. Receipt printers and pump electronics often don't work as well
