Van Hook Travel Center in New Town (8258 39th St NW)

Good place to stop for food. They have great burritos and fresh coffee. The old white lady is always happy and friendly but the younger ladies always have attitude. ATM machine is down a lot.

changed ownership and management. has gone downhill since. The people they hire have no experience in customer service. they are not attentive or have a sense of urgency. equipment in the store is broken and does not seem to get fixed. pricing is a joke, they have high prices on alot of thi nds. also, they post one price and a different will ring up. they argue with you if you ask fir the posted price. it could be a good store if they had a more active management team with experience to run a store like this.

pretty good pizza especially the breakfast

If you have an issue or can't find anything it seems like nobody wants to go the extra mile to help you. I choose not to stop there and less absolutely necessary
