Pilot in Hobbs (3710 W Carlsbad Hwy)

Always clean and well lit up with good food and coffee, a great place to stop while traveling between Carlsbad NM and Lubbock TX.

It is with extreme regret that I must report that this Pilot #557, does NOT exemplify the cleanliness and service I have always found in every Pilot/Flying J I have gone to, from East Coast to West Coast!! After 4 consecutive days here, May 22-25, 2023, I have to report that the men's bathroom was CONSTANTLY dirty and lacking in paper products. After the staff was informed that someone had "an accident" all over one toilet and stall, the mess was STILL THERE 4 hours later!!!!! This is TOTALLY unacceptable!! It got to the point where I was seriously thinking about using the emergency bucket in my truck, rather than go into that NASTY men's bathroom. I have reported it to corporate, as well as warning fellow GBuddies.

This station is well maintained. Outside grounds are kept clean with regular washes of pump areas and trash removal. Bathrooms are well maintained and appear to be checked regularly. There is always plenty of fresh cooked food to select from as well as some pre packaged to go sandwiches. Customer service is very good and makes a delightful visit for locals and travelers.
