ARCO in Sacramento (2838 J St)

pay stations not working. no receipt prints. homeless everywhere. inner city cheap gas. be careful

This is a very busy station in Downtown Sacramento and its in the heaviest of traffic convergence. Despite this fact. It's quick and reliable due to its many pumps and ample parking and big wide lanes. They have plenty of employees working all the time, so service is quick and satisfactory. I like this station because they have a big mini mart and keep it stocked well. I give it 4/5 stars.

Considering all the loitering homeless, they keep restrooms available and the drinks and coffee cheap.

Always good prices, and right off the freeway for almost out of gas emergencies! Never have to wait for a pump (there's plenty). Just be prepared to be asked for change... or a smoke... or similar. They have cash machines at the pumps so if you come ready you'll be in n out!

Like most gas stations in downtown there are homeless people asking for money, food, or gas. The staff and security do a good job of keeping it to a minimum. Plus at least one on duty staff member is in a great mood with a smile and kind word.

Onsite security is awesome. They make you feel more secure.
