CITGO in Monticello (45 Forestburgh Rd)

DO NOT GO HERE!! This gas station is awful. Not only that there are so many gas station surrounding that there is no need to even look at this place. The prices are that competitive to feel like you MUST get gas here. The gas is competitively cheap if you pay cash but if you are a card person.. this is not for you. The price of gas just to use your card opposed to cash is like a 30 cent different. I have the CITGO app, which with my loyalty ID I can redeem rewards for cents off gas. I walked inside to pay inside and use my rewards (usually u tell them u want to punch in your number OR they do it for you). However, when I mentioned it the guy was yessing me to death and told me I have to insert card first and then put in my number. He barely spoke English and didn’t even try to understand what I was saying. Long story short, he had me pay for my gas and never was able to put my rewards in at all. I was not able to use the cents off per gallon thus paying full price.

I really only go here when I yes my citgo card. but I've never had a problem
