This Station has changed management at least once, and Brand affiliation a couple times in recent years, from Texaco to Exxon and now back again to Texaco. During that entire stretch they've always had some of the Best Prices in the immediate area (within ~4-5 miles) for Regular AND Diesel (less so for Mid & Premium). However, I generally had many of the same reservations voiced by other Reviewers, UNTIL a couple years ago, as the Station went thru a Major Refit during that intermediate switch to Exxon, resulting in New Pumps, Drastically Upgraded Lighting, and a Remodeled Convenience Store. Yes, the surrounding business district is still a bit spotty--although the nearby residences a block or so behind and across 6th Av from this location are actually pretty nice, modest homes, in fairly well maintained neighborhoods--yet with those Facility Upgrades, including MUCH Improved Lighting, the Station is now a comfortable locale for most folks to pump their gas and pickup stuff they need

The lot was full of trash, but the pump worked fine.

The little lady at the front was so helpful and full of southern charm. She had a big smile and a sweet laugh. The gas station was not the cleanest or the most appealing, but they had what we needed. All of the checkout desk being behind glass was a little unsettling and the surrounding area was a little rough. People were very nice; however, and all wore a smile.
