Murphy USA in Bedford (1100 E Lynchburg Salem Turnpike)

This station consistently has the best had prices within a 15 mile radius. Although I was a little disappointed when they removed the little tv's that were on top of the pumps that gave me snippets of news stories a few months ago.

Water in the gas. Filled up car started running rough and check engine light on. Added two bottles of gas dryer and problem resolved after some driving. Complained and said they would give refund then would not after driving there. Spend a few cents more on quality gas.

i this gas station, I come here at least once a week. I never have a problem with the pumps and I never wait long if the pumps are a little backed up.

In and out quickly with cheaper than most gas prices!

Problem was, $2.99 stated for the gas price. I drove over there and they were out of 87 and 89 octane both. Every pump was out. Not sure why  we have not updated GasBuddy. People were turning around in droves.

Normally the best price within the Town of Bedford and anywhere within many miles. The station is well lit and stays pretty busy due to the lowest price. It is directly in front of the Walmart. There is a McDonald’s in the same area and a strip mall that has Tractor Supply, and a few restaurants if you want to make a stop for gas and then grab supplies or a meal. The area is routinely patrolled by Bedford Police Department and Bedford Sheriff’s Office. The pumps are normally left on overnight, but may be turned off on Thanksgiving and Christmas due to Walmart being closed on those days. Overall a great station. I have bought gas at this location since 2017 and never had any problems with the quality of gas. Due to the high level of law enforcement presence, I have never seen any shady characters just hanging around. If you want the lowest prices in the area, make this a stop during your trip through Bedford!
