Marathon in Adairsville (932 GA-140)

“Scam Alert! I went to this Marathon in Adairsville because their sign advertised gas at $2.79 a gallon. I had a $0.10 off per gallon reward, but when I started filling up, the pump said $2.89 and only dropped to $2.79 when I pushed the button. Thinking it was fine, I let my car fill up and went inside to mention the discrepancy. The attendant didn’t know how to fix it and called his manager, who seemed more concerned about the price across the street at QT than correcting their own mistake. After some back-and-forth in another language, they claimed it was ‘fixed.’ When I went back out, I saw I’d been charged $3.39 a gallon. For 15 gallons, my total was $53+—way off from what I should’ve paid. They tried to say I used the mid-grade gas, but I ONLY ever use regular unleaded. I stood there for 10 minutes demanding they fix it, and they eventually refunded me the difference, but the hassle was infuriating. This station is NOT trustworthy. This store is pathetic. They never have paper in the printers at the gas pumps. Now they have the pay at the pump turned off. They want you to come inside. Nope not me. I left. This is just a ding ding store.

Gross restrooms

Their sign publist cost/gal is less than the pomp cost; not a cash credit issue. Front door is chained closed so no refund.

Cheap price but restroom were nasty. Cashier dont seem to care about customers. No communication in or out
