Maverik in West Valley (2678 South 5600 West)

Owner listed wrong gas prices. I arrived 18mins after their update to find gas 20 cents more expensive.

Been noticing the "owners" of all Maverik locations are reporting wrong prices of 30 cents or more, and when other members change those prices, the owners will report the wrong prices again within 30 minutes. Also, it's fishy when multiple Mavs in the area are also being reported falsely by the owner at the exact same time as all the other locations. This is price gouging and is illegal. They should be made to honor the prices the owner reports, if a member goes inside to pay for gas with a cashier instead of at the pump.

This morning (5.17.21) I've seen the owner of this station (as well as the one by Winco on 56th) update the price at least TWICE, reporting fuel prices with a difference of over 25 cents per gallon. It seems they do it every time someone reports the price accurately. Not sure if the lower price the owner keeps (incorrectly) reporting is because of a discount or loyalty program, but this is against GasBuddy's reporting guidelines, which state to report any fuel price BEFORE discounts of any sort. Either way, the owner is being dishonest.

I only stop here if I absolutely have to and haven't been inside in ages. There are so many better options for gas and convenience store products.
