Good luck trying to use a coupon here. They always make up some excuse on why you can't
You can no longer pump gas and pay inside. The owner/operator fears for his life simply because that's what 'corporate' wants him to believe. When using the gas coupons from Safeway the operators inside always sigh and begrudgingly accept them. They promptly remind you that the coupon is only good for 75L. All in all, they are grumpy merchants selling overpriced fuel who don't understand simple arithmetic. I would avoid this station if at all possible. IMO running out of fuel, leaving your car on the side of the road, hitchhiking into Calgary and buying an electric car is less hassle than dealing with the proprietors of this poorly run Shell location. 1 out of 5 stars.
Possibly the worst Shell in Canada. The pump computers quite often do not work, especially in the cold (which is great for a fuel station in the Rockies in winter). Today’s farcical wait was due to the systems failure to accept a wide range of cards, both Mastercard and Visa. The same system had no problem playing annoying piped music and the “how great is Shell video” when I finally got to pump fuel. Thank fully I always carry cash. The attendant is quite possibly the laziest employee ever with his two positive points being that he turns up and is actually standing. However he lacks the initiative to put signs on the forecourt or pumps warning customers that their are computer/ card issues. “There is nothing I can do about it!” Is his stock refrain. But he has no problem with the technology required to be on a WhatsApp call to friends or family when he should otherwise be working (maybe don’t leave your cell phone screen unlocked on the counter when dealing with disappointed
I went to get gas today. Instead of a sign up saying the gas pumps aren't working. They did nothing!! Me and about 5 other people tried to get gas. After 10 minutes trying to get gas. Went inside to find out why? The cashier said the pumps are not working!!!!
No windshield fluid for squeegees. It's winter!
Me and my coworkers stoped today to pump gas for 6 vehicles . Our corporate credit card didn't work , so one of is have to do six preouthorizations for $20 each . After toping each of the six vehicles everyone of us have to go inside the station ones again because the printers of each pomp was out of paper . I hear that this gestation was under the new management, after someone new purchased not a log time ago . Before was a disaster - like no one was at the location for hours during the days hours . Looks like now - didn't improve much .... Never going to stop for gas there again for pursonal or corporate needs . What a waist of time and the price is the highest per litre compared to other stations
The Washroom was pretty discussed. Someone got sick in there.
Had trouble getting the machine to take my husband's credit card, but my card worked fine. (US card)
gas is always cheaper in deadman flats!! go there and save big time over the summer. it's quieter there too. no lineups of tourists
Good station
Is an alright gas station but crowded in women's restroom for baby changing
McDonalds here. Station was very clean & staff was friendly
Most expensive fuel in Canmore. If you enjoy overpaying and being treated like a third class citizen, then this is the place for you. The owners write the definition for "greed" here in the Bow Valley.
Price gouging. Typically .20c more here / L than in Calgary. Fill up in the city before heading West.
There is barely anyone there.
