Why are my points disappearing when I pull in to get my gas and usually when I have over a dollar or more off a gallon of gas

There are two separate islands with a total of four gas lanes. You are supposed to enter from the west side only. Sometimes people don't understand how this station works and they inadvertently cut in front of you in line.
