after the new owners took over and changed the name from Alice Mae's and updated the pumps and the look of the station it became just another Anchorage area gas station as far as prices are concerned. I used to stop there on my commute between Palmer and Anchorage but I have not done that in a year or 2 because gas is always cheaper in Palmer.
$10 for a tiny cup of ice cream. Used to be 2.49, then was hiked up to 4.99. Now they want $10 for 8 ounces of cheap gas station ice cream. Absolutely insulting. Decent in regards to fuel prices, showers, bathrooms. Horrible coffee. Customer service used to be good, now they are rude and unhelpful, just like the owner.
I love this gas station! Great selection of candy, great prices, liquor store attached, and can't beat the shower/laundromat connected! I drive to this one from Anchorage to do my laundry and it's worth it everytime. The only downside is they need to update pumps. They don't offer Premium gas, which I don't mind but I'm sure others do.

I always skip this station since it's one of the most expensive Shell stations around. Plus the Fuel Rewards program doesn't work.

If you don't already have a Fred Meyer rewards card, run in to the customer service desk and get one. It's fast and easy and it saves you 3-cents per gallon on the spot, whether you've been a FM customer for years or a brand newbie first-timer. These are self-service stations but they're open all night pay-at-pump and accept all major credit cards with no added cost (unlike those Cash Price places) and their prices are nearly always very competitive.

When this was Tesoros they where always trying to keep up on cleaning being that they where short staffed. The bathroom was always clean until one customer destroyed the toilet. After that last time they closed the bathroom down to the public and the employees. I know for a fact that the employees were going over to the bank to use the toilet and Walgreens. Since it has changed hands to this other company Quick Stop it has gone down hill . The store is not clean ,NO BATHROOM. It took them 6 months or longer to just fix two of the soda cooler doors because they did not want to . The doors keep falling out onto customers and one even broke . What employees they do have are working doubles shifts with low pay . It’s pretty sad when McDonalds advertises on there board paying up to $21 hr. And a $200 dollar bonus . This station pay is very low and no bathrooms. I have gone there many of times and a sign on the door says be back in 15 minutes but sometimes is has been like 30 minutes . This
