Shell in Highland Park (5137 N Figueroa St)

The attendant barely spoke english and was found in the back room yelling to me from that room that nothing was working telling me to get out! CURRENTLY NOTHING WORKS HERE!

I interacted with the female cashier on duty when I visited around 4pm. I went inside to pay cash for my gas. She made me wait until every one of the men in the store had bought their beer, cigarettes and lottery tickets before she would help me. when I went to the pump, I wasn't able to add my number for the fuel rewards so I went back inside to ask for help. again, the female cashier had me wait until every other customer (even if they walked in after me) was helped before she helped me add my fuel rewards account. After she did add my rewards, I went to the pump to fill up. No problems there but I had paid more than I need to fill my tank so I went back in for my change. The same thing happened again! I had to wait again to get back my change. What should have been a quick 5 minute fill up turned into a solid 20+ minutes. The money you save per gallon here is not worth being treated this way ever. I'd happily pay more for better service anywhere else.

Clean and well lit at night. Standard gas station.

Unlike other Shell stations, this one does not allow you to redeem Fuel Rewards on Premium gas, but only on Regular. They claim that this restriction is part of the terms of Fuel Rewards but that is not true. I have redeemed the rewards at other Shell stations on Premium gas without problem. Steer clear of this station!

Gas price on corner sign was incorrect 87 octane. Price shown was $4.69 price I paid was $4.86
