Always clean, pretty good coffee, cheap gas this side of the bridge helps keep the other stations low
This has been a long standing great station for decades. The employees over time are always helpful and courteous. Gas prices tend to be a few cents higher per gallon, but the station is loaded with beach necessities, light groceries, a huge range of beverages, fantastic light deli, _fresh made sandwiches, and a range of great daily newspapers from the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today and several VA state and local newspapers. This owner has had a QUALITY for many years that few can even begin to compare to. Stop in and see for yourself.
The toilet paper here is soo soft!
Friendly and courteous staff, you will get a “hello” or “welcome” acknowledgement when you enter. User-friendly ATM. Lottery tickets are sold by cashier, a big plus for human interaction instead of machine. Abundant choices of snacks and drinks. This store sits among two other convenient stores, but sets the better price of fuel, and then the others have to lower their gas price to be competitive.
The first Wawa in North Carolina has been open since spring of 2024. Good people here, this is an employee-owned chain so the chain usually reflects their investment in quality all around.
This station is also a repair shop. There are a lot of cars/trucks on the property and it makes it difficult to maneuver to the pumps.
This station is brand new. It is clean and well lit. There is no hot coffee at the station as there is a Starbucks in the store. Staff is friendly, there are snacks, soda, ice, beer, wine, lottery, cigarettes. If you have a VIC card you automatically get .03 cents off each gallon of gas.
Food is great. Biscuits and fried chicken done right
A fine station as stations go, usually a penny or so lower than the rest (but not always) and unlike so many other places that only sell gas and junk food, this station can help with minor mechanical issues. I filled up today. Make America great again. - gastrader (october 2017)
