Top 10 Gas Stations & Cheap Fuel Prices in Elizabeth, NJ

This station is now Fuel 4. Yesterday, on April 5th 2024 I went to get gas in the evening. I asked for it to be filled up in cash. It came out to $18 and I gave the attendant a $20 bill. Instead of giving me the change he asked "no tip for coffee?". Before I could even say yes or acknowledge him, he walked away with the $2. Normally I wouldn't make a complaint over $2 but it's not the first time that same employee on the same gas station asks for tip. Tipping is optional and even more so for gas stations because by NJ law we can't pump our own gas. Gas Attendants shouldn't ask for tip (this has never happened to me in any other gas station) and much less walk away with the money assuming someone was going to tip them.

Great customer service!

The gas station is now a Delta station. I asked the shirt man with a full mustache and beard for a receipt. He said he doesn't have a receipt. I said I need a receipt and he pointed the pump and gave a thumbs up. I said I need a receipt and he walked off. I will run out if gas in front of this station before they get another brown penny from my possession. Horrible .

The app is clunky

The only problem I have is one particular attendant there. Everyone should be treated fairly and this attendant doesn’t treat everyone fairly.

A bit slow help customer

When you ask them to fill a certain amount they do it below when prices are low and when prices are high they overflow. They don't wait until gas drips into tank before pulling it out so it leaks all over your car and the floor. Exactly why I hate the law in NJ where you can't self service.

Station is okay. I've never visited the convenience store. The prices are a bit more than other gas stations.
