Pilot in Lufkin (1914 E Denman Ave)

After ACTIVATING MY GAS BUDDY APP AT THE STATION PUMP ISLAND; Inserted ABOVE my GAS BUDDY CARD INTO THE PUMP ; TYPED THE NUMBERS above the BAR code; then the PUMP SCREEN SAID TO GO INSIDE TO SEE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY SCANNED THE BAR CODE BUT DID NOT RECEIVE THE GAS BUDDY DISCOUNT HAD TO USE MY COMMERCIAL BANK OF TEXAS MASTER CARD TO PAY FOR THE GAS; this was the :3rd Gas Station That ,i Had Been To and They ALL HAD PROBLEMS

Myrewards would not work at the pump. Scanned bar code multiple times and also entered it manually and would not show that it was accepted. It said to see cashier...ain't got no time for all that! Disappointed!

Tried to enter rewards card at pump but it wouldn’t take.

Gas buddy card would not work here today.

I’ve never got my alleged discount when using Pilot! Four times I’ve tried and four times failed! I don’t know if their directions aren’t clear, I’m stupid or there is NO Discount anyway but after going through their entire verification process the screen either repeats itself or sends me to the cashier. When I went to the cashier neither they nor their supervisor knew how to make their system give me the discount, which they said they’d never heard of. The people are friendly, bathrooms clean and they’re open 24/7/365 but I won’t come back thinking I’ll score a discount again.

This station will NOT honor the Gas Buddy discount!

Clean facilities, huge selection of products, friendly staff, a great place for truckers and travelers of every stripe. Always the best price for regular gas, too!
