GasBuddy Expands Team into Detroit, Names Veteran Advertising Sales Leader Steve Dooley as Vice President

BOSTON — GasBuddy, the smartphone app helping consumers avoid paying full price for fuel, today announced the addition of Steve Dooley as vice president of advertising sales, based in Detroit, where he will lead GasBuddy’s Central and West Coast advertising sales efforts.

Dooley brings with him 30 years of media sales experience and has a successful history of building high-performing teams and delivering results-driven campaigns. Dooley held executive sales management roles at LiveIntent, Oracle Data Cloud and Datalogix. He also served as President of Carbon Media Group/Outdoor Hub. 

Previously, Dooley was director of advertising in the Detroit offices of Newsweek and U.S. News & World Report where he helped launch Family Fun, and Fast Company Magazines. He also worked on the launch team of ESPN The Magazine.
